A Woman's Work

As a woman studying and preparing to be an ordained and licensed minister, I realize that I will encounter many closed doors and latent discrimination because of my sex as a female. It subconsciously played a part in my own psyche as I struggled to accept that God called me to preach and teach His word. Not that I felt inadequate due to my sex, but I did wonder how I could fit in to a world dominated by men with the mindset that women are to be seen and not heard with respects to religion and maintain my outspoken personality and identity in Christ. It has been a journey.
